Inside Sales Executive
The TraceLink team is seeking an Inside Sales Executive with a hunger for nurturing and converting B2B sales opportunities. We are turning the traditional enterprise sales approach on its head by providing cloud-based online solutions and simplifying how our customers can try and buy them online. You will be a key player in this effort.
The Inside Sales Executive is an integral part of our marketing, lead generation and sales team. You will manage and execute the sales process from end to end including qualification of new leads, conversion of leads to new sales opportunities and closure of new deals. While your primary pipeline will be created through our lead generation team, you will also be expected to identify new opportunities in our prospect base and engage with them proactively.
Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales Pipeline
- Achieve monthly/yearly quotas in closed business by successfully converting warm leads and cold calls
- Aggressively engage with leads via telephone and email to educate and drive them through the pipeline
- Execute online presentations, solution demos and virtual meetings with key decision-makers and influencers
- Effectively build and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets
- Develop and utilize clear value propositions about TraceLink and its products
Sales Process
- Efficiently enlist support from the TraceLink team where needed to keep opportunities moving
- Clearly document inside sales pipeline including sales forecasts, prospect details, current engagements and future planned activities
Marketing Programs
- Provide feedback to marketing team on messaging performance and newly identified customer needs
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of TraceLink’s product, solutions and value propositions
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-5 year’s B2B inside sales experience
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Sales experience in or in-depth knowledge of enterprise software and services required
- Sales experience in the following highly beneficial: SaaS/Cloud systems, Pharma/Life Sciences, Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain
- Proven track record in qualifying and converting raw prospects to qualified sales opportunities leading to high percentage close rate and successful revenue attainment
- Demonstrated understanding of and success in the sales life-cycle: prospecting, qualifying, overcoming objections and closing the deal
- Ability to perform account planning, account development and pipeline management
- Bright, energetic and service oriented personality with strong networking abilities
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take the initiative to get things done regardless of barriers
- Outstanding written, oral, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good professional judgment and high motivation in the challenging, dynamic startup environment
