TraceLink Inc., the World’s Largest Track and Trace Network for connecting the life sciences supply chain and providing real-time information sharing for better patient outcomes, announced today that President and CEO, Shabbir Dahod, has been recognized by PharmaVOICE magazine as one of the top 100 people providing inspiration to their peers, colleagues and companies through their innovative and motivational approach to addressing the industry’s challenges. The honor, published in the July/August 2017 issue of PharmaVOICE, recognizes Mr. Dahod for his innovative and revolutionary thinking, passion and commitment to patient safety and cutting-edge technology, and dedication to engaging and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
Mr. Dahod has dedicated himself to pharmaceutical supply chain integrity, making it his mission to protect patients around the world from counterfeit drug issues and enabling information sharing among companies across the industry to improve patient outcomes. As a true visionary, Mr. Dahod recognized early on that a globally connected information network, connecting people, processes and product data – from ingredient to patient, could be used to strengthen the life sciences supply chain and make a significant impact on saving lives. As pharmaceutical track and trace regulations began materializing around the world, Mr. Dahod and his team members were the first to realize that a network platform in the cloud was the only approach that could address the unprecedented data demands and massive network connectivity challenges brought on by pharmaceutical serialization and traceability requirements. The result was the development of the TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud, which has over 255,000 life science partners, making it the world’s largest track and trace network.
“It is an incredible honor to join such distinguished industry leaders and innovators recognized this year on the PharmaVOICE 100, one of the premier awards in the life sciences industry,” said Shabbir Dahod, president and CEO, TraceLink. “More than a decade ago, we set out with the goal of merging technology with life sciences to protect the supply chain and ensure that patients receive safe medicines. Today, we remain dedicated to that mission and look forward to furthering our commitment to industry by working collaboratively to build an information exchange network that will allow life science companies to seamlessly share information and cost-effectively comply with regulations.”
As a company, TraceLink continues to grow under Mr. Dahod’s leadership, having achieved revenue growth of 623 percent from 2013 to 2016, and ranking as the #8 fastest growing company from Massachusetts on the 2016 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™. Additionally, through a hands-on business practice, Mr. Dahod has rapidly expanded the TraceLink team to approximately 315 employees located across the globe—which has increased by 800% since 2013. In 2016, TraceLink was named one of The Boston Globe “Top Places to Work” in Massachusetts, demonstrating the company’s positive and employee friendly culture.
