A digital supply network eliminates integration concerns and helps you work more closely with supplier networks.
Move over enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs). TraceLink’s Roddy Martin shares his take on why a digital supply network is a game-changer for pharma companies.
Transcript:
Why is the Digital Network Platform such a fundamentally different approach to the end-to-end supply chain in comparison to all of the IT systems that hospitals, distributors, wholesalers, retail pharmacy, and the ERP and MES systems that have been implemented?
All of those systems were set up within their own operating models inside of businesses. That makes it extremely difficult to share information and data across the system and collaborate with partners.
In comparison, the Digital Network Platform that has codified the connectivity of all the partners simultaneously fundamentally changes the game.
It means that the differences between all of those systems implemented in various partners of the network, all of those have been harmonized and allow sharing and collaboration in a patient-centric way across one network.
