Overview

Standard XTT Link Actions are those built and maintained by TraceLink to connect to common, non-customized, external systems.

 

Terminology and Principles

Standard XTT Link Actions abide by the following principles: 

  • Connection is made via API to a single, external system that does not have customizations
  • Data is transmitted either inbound OR outbound
  • Configured for a single TraceLink instance
  • Configured for a single transaction type 

Term

Definition

Inbound Link Action

Data from an external system is retrieved and transformed to TraceLink.

Outbound Link Action

Data from TraceLink is transformed and sent to an external system.

Custom XTT Link Actions

Link Actions built for systems not covered by Standard XTT Link Actions or systems with customization.
