Key Takeaways
-
A digital supply network enables you to take an outside-in, patient-centric approach to supply chain management and demand forecasting.
-
The most important metric is on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to patients in need.
Learn how a digital supply network can help you improve on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance.

One of the challenges in pharmaceuticals and, in fact, all supply chains across industries is the fact that they measured too much. There were metrics for everything.
But when you look outside-in around the whole mental model of patient-centric, you start to realize that there’s really only one metric that counts, and that is: that the patient receives what they needed on time, in full.
If we make the serialized product available in inventory form through the end-to-end supply chain, we now don’t have to have hundreds of days of inventory sitting around in the supply chain. We know where all the product is.
So, on time, in full becomes much more realistic if we have full end-to-end visibility using this combination of serialized data, IoT, broadcasting real-time status of products, and visibility of supply chain inventory all the way back into the product supply network.
